Row of cottages, now single dwelling, possible C17. Considerably restored in 1970s
with concrete lintels. Stone rubble lower walls with ribbon pointing and rendered
cob upper walls. Built on bedrock foundations. Thatched roof. Brick chimneys.
Plan much altered. 1 1/2 storeys, asymmetrical. East front: ground floor 6-light 16-
pane C20 casement windows with 2 blocked door openings on right hand side. C20
timber door. First floor five 2-light C20 casement windows, 6 panes per light.
Thatched roof stepped up in centre as ground rises towards north. West front
asymmetrical with C20 fenestration. First floor casement window inserted in west
gable and small single storey extension circa mid C19 on east gable with double door
and corrugated roof. Fireplace on north end, rubble stone with cambered timber
lintel and cloam oven. Unusual elevational treatment.
