The Charles II Monument was erected beside the River Lyvennet's source, a spring known as Black Dub on Crosby Ravensworth Fell. It is a Grade II Listed Structure and was erected in 1861 by Thomas Bland to commenorate the occasion of the King drinking from the source of the River Lyvennet in 1651.
