House, now dentist's surgery and offices, with forecourt wall
and piers. c1825 with late C20 alterations. Coursed squared
stone with ashlar plinth and dressings; roof of graduated thin
stone slates with stone ridge and chimneys. 2 storeys;
2-window range. Steps at right to late C20 panelled door, with
internal fan-shaped glazed top light, and plain overlight in
plain stone surround. Canted stone bay at left has renewed
plate-glass window under renewed fascia with cornice. 4-pane
sashes above in plain stone surrounds, the left restored under
wide wedge stone lintel. Eaves gutter cornice. Roof has end
chimneys, the left on plinth and both with top bands, shared
with adjacent houses. INTERIOR: not inspected.
Low forecourt retaining wall has chamfered stone coping.
Square entrance piers have trefoil-headed panels and pyramidal
coping. Handrail renewed.
