SJ 87 NE ALDERLEY EDGE C.P. HOUGH LANE

5/55 Holly Trees.

House: C17 with C19 alterations and additions. Timber framed with
brick nogging on stone plinth. Welsh slate roof, 2 gable brick
chimneys. 2-storey, 3-bay front. Irregular small timber framing.
Left end has 6-panelled door with a gabled timber hood. Remaining
windows are 2 or 3-light casements, the upper ones are in former
gabled half dormers now lost in a raised roof. Left end has added
brick lean-to and the right end, an upper cruck truss.
