House, now offices. c1820, altered mid C19 and late C20. Red
brick, with painted ashlar dressings and slate roof with 2
reduced gable stacks. Plinth, first floor sill band, renewed
wooden modillion eaves cornice. 3 storeys; 3 window range of
12-pane sashes. All the front windows have wedge lintels with
double keystones. Above again, three 9-pane sashes. Central
ashlar doorcase with round arch and keystone, moulded 6-panel
door and fanlight. On each side, a C19 plain sash, with beaded
panelled shutters, that to the right renewed.
Right return, to Rutland Street, has to left a gable with 2
round-arched plain sashes on the lower floors, and a single
one above. To right, a segment-arched doorway with a
round-arched sash above it. To right again, 3 C18 glazing bar
sashes on the ground floor, and 2 on each floor above.
