Large window bottom left was the original butchers shop. Originally the door into the shop was at the front but it was moved to the side after a vehicle damaged the building, it was also safer to visiting customers. The cream wall on the right is modern and was the original entrance to the property but was too dangerous on a tight blind bend to use. On the table side was the wording: “Jackson’s Family Butchers, Home Killed Meat”. The barn behind the house was the original abattoir used by the Jackson family for generations.
