South east aspect. The chancel may have been Perpendicular Gothic architecture, but the Victorian restorers chose to give it a Decorated Gothic look. East window with restored Decorated Gothic cusped, reticulated, tracery. Steep roof to chancel, and windows with segmental arched heads. Swithland slate roof. Stone coped gable with cross finial. The crested ridge tiles have been removed since the 1966 listing. (Photo Apr 2008).
