Barn. Early C17. Timber frame on tarred brick base, tarred
weatherboarding and steep pitched roof now slated. A tall 6-bays double
barn facing W with double doors in 2nd bay from each end. Jowled posts,
mid-height rail and straight tension braces. Clasped-purlin roof with
one purlin in each slope and straight wind-braces. Old flat rafters and
collar and tie-beam trusses.
