The epitaph of 1920 engraved in the sandstone is beginning to suffer from erosion. The brass plaques, the upper 1939 - 45, the lower to 1914 - 18, both carry a cross patonce. The stone cross on top has a sword carved in relief on it. The memorial is built into the churchyard wall to the right of the lychgate. (Photo Sept 2013).
