Description

Early C19 brick range, No 15 painted. Plain tile roof with gabled ends. Three
storeys, 4 bays. Sash windows with glazing bars and rusticated lintels. No 11's
first floor windows are modern casements in original openings. Two early/mid C19
pilastered shop fronts with entablatures. Round arched passageway at centre.

Reasons for Designation:

* The general plan form is still intact in No.11, at ground floor and basement levels

* They form a good group of joined address units with early C19 shop fronts which contribute considerably to the value of the extended group along High Street and Burton Street
