Minster Church of St Mary the Virgin with attached chapter house

A Grade I Listed Building in Southwell, Nottinghamshire

The nave looking west, Southwell Minster

Uploader's Comments

The massive Norman piers supporting the arcade must be at least five foot (one and a half metres) thick. Circumference 16 foot, or 5 metres. Although the people look so tiny, they filled the nave with song. (Photo Jul 2008).
