Description

Probably 18th century. 2-storey, 3-bay cottage. Rubble stone, harled to front and side, painted to rear. Base course.

S (PRINCIPAL) ELEVATION: doorway with reeded surround off-centre right between flanking bays. Windows with painted cement? margins, those at 1st floor smaller.

E ELEVATION: blank gable end. Returns provide buttresses up to eaves height.

N ELEVATION: openings at ground floor only, lean-to to right.

W ELEVATION: attached to neighbouring house.

Timber 4-pane sash windows to front. Dark grey slate. Later brick chimney at ridge of separating wall.

INTERIOR: not seen, 1996.

BOUNDARY WALLS: later wall to E flush with gable end. Rubble stone to N (rear). Lean-to and out house.
