History: Early C19 milestone on Aberaeron to Aberystwyth turnpike road. Turnpike trust formed 1770.

Description: Whitewashed stone curved-headed milestone inscribed: `ABERYSTWYTH 13 miles' the letters of Aberystwyth following curve of head.

Included for its special interest as a relic of early transport history.
