Farm Cottage


2 cottages. Probably C17, of 2 stages of building. Squared coursed limestone
with C20-tile and iron sheet roofs and rebuilt stone ridge stacks. 3-unit and
2-unit plans. One storey and attic; 4-window range of C19 and C20 two- and
three-light casements with wood lintels to ground floor. C20 door to left and
C19 plank door to right, both under wood lintels. Interior: Home Farm Cottage to
left noted as having chamfered spine beam with ogee stops and large open
fireplace with chamfered timber bressumer. Included for group value.
