Former Grammar School, founded 1637 by Sir John Sedley, Baronet. Altered 1885 to be a social club and reading room. Converted to a private dwelling, by GE, 2002 (date in gable apex). Built of ironstone ashlar with limestone dressings and slate roof with ashlar coped gables with moulded kneelers. Chamfered plinth and flush ashlar quoins. Stone chimney stack. One storey plus attic. Central moulded doorway with depressed 4 centred arched head with hood mould, and above it, a blank tablet surmounted by a goats head erased, The lamp at the top of the gable hides a shield of Arms.
