and attached byre

Mid C18 barn/byre, partly converted into Inn in early/mid C19 and now (1983)
farmhouse. Coursed, squared rubble with quoins; house front to left is pebble-
dashed. Graduated slate roof with late Cl9 brick chimney to south end.
3-storey, 3-bay house retains original wagon and byre openings, both now
partially blocked and converted into windows with glazing bars; central
part-glazed door inserted in between. Single sash without glazing bars to each
floor above original wagon opening. Outbuildings to right have 2 original byre
doors with hay-loft door above left-hand one; 3rd door and lean-to under
corrugated asbestos roof, against east wall, is late C18/early Cl9 addition.
Large blocked opening to west gable. All doors, except central house door, have
segmental heads. Outbuildings and car-port to west not included.
