Church of All Saints

A Grade II* Listed Building in Orton, Cumbria

Rear of All Saints Church, Orton

Uploader's Comments

The original church building is thought to have had a modestly primitive structural design. It was not until the 13th century that a permanent stone structured building was erected. This first building was cruciform in plan view, having a chancel, nave, crossing and two transepts.
