GV II

Large town house. Early C19 and mid C19. Incised stucco on
rubble; slatehanging to visible end walls; rag slate hipped
roof with brick end stack on left and axial stack towards
left; cast-iron ogee gutter. Single-depth plan. 3 storeys over
basement; 5-window range. Original and mid C19 hornless sashes
with glazing bars. 4-panel doors: doorway low down at far left
and original doorway with panelled reveals and overlight
towards right. Left-hand return has slate-hung upper floor
progressively overhanging more towards rear. Rear has
slatehanging to most of upper floors and central lean-to
projection to 1st floor. INTERIOR: not inspected but likely to
be of interest.
