Shown on OS Map as Strange's Farmhouse.
Former farmhouse, now detached house. C17 core cottage with C19
additions and C20 restoration. Limewashed brick with some timber
framing to rear of core cottage, wooden lintels and gabled thatched
roof with ridge brick stack. Single-storey and attic, 4-window
south front with core cottage off-centre to right and additions to
left and right ends. Windows are 2 and 3-light small pane C19
casements; 2 eyebrow dormers, that to the left being refenestrated
at time of resurvey along with rethatching in Devon reed (July
1986). Plank door to right set beneath thatched eaves which
projects to form a porch set on wooden posts.
