Cottage, now shop. Late C16 - early C17 with C19 extensions to rear. Timber
framed, clad in colourwashed render; plain tiled roof. Two storeys and attics
under gabled C19 dormer with sash window in moulded surround. Stack to front
left. First floor jettied with 3-light leaded casement window under the eaves
and plate glass window to left on ground floor. Door to right end under over-
light. Left hand return front:- Wall exposed in alley with frame of square
pattern on rendered plinth. Truncated stack to rear and three attic windows in
rear gable. Single storey brick and flint extensions at right angles. Original
alleyway between this property and No. 21 survives with massive post and mortice
for locking bar and pointed-arch surround to front.
