Circa 1680s. Former Angel and Crown Inn. Remodelled mid-C19. 2½ storeys, rendered
and grooved as ashlar. Pantile roof, 1 gabled dormer. 2 windows, cross-glazed
sashes. Central 4 panel door with cut brackets to moulded flat hood. 2 storey
gabled extension to rear and former public house courtyard buildings. Traces of a
½ storey cottage on left hand return.
Interior: Inglenook fireplace formerly with herringbone dated fireback. Winder
stair to right with moulded risers and blocked stairlight (with fragments of old
glazing). Axial ceiling beam with ogee stops to chamfer.
