Farmhouse. Early to mid C19, left wing a little earlier. Rendered front, lined ashlar, above ashlar plinth: English garden wall bond brickwork painted: slate roof, in diminishing courses to main block; tiled roof to single-storey wing on yard front.

Three-bay main block, two rooms deep, two storeys; two-bay two and a half storey wing on left, single storey, single bay section beyond. Front: stone-paved terrace up one step for length main block, further step to porch: six-panel front door up third step, bottom two panels flush, top fielded, rectangular cast-iron fanlight over: plain rendered surround. Either side unfluted Roman Doric pilasters, marked entasis: in front pillars, fluted top two-thirds: hipped, pyramid roof. Either side large, sixteen-pane sash, five-voussoir lintels, raised keystone. First floor three smaller, similar windows. Plain frieze, projecting, moulded cornice, plain shallow parapet over. Parapet gables, simple roof, single ridge, gable chimneys on ends each side ridge, linked by parapet with horizontal top. Set back on left lower wing: half-glazed door, rubbed brick arch: very small window adjoining. Two-light casement, rubbed brick arch. Set back on left, rear wall of single-storey extension. First floor, single-light casement, horizontal casement to left, cambered brick arches to both. Dentil eaves, parapet gable with ridge chimney. Rear, to yard: main block, boarded door up three stone steps, under brick porch, open end, flat roof. Either side an early C20 eight-pane sash, cambered brick arch: below on left boarded door with cambered brick arch and grating to cellar steps.

First floor, sixteen-pane sashes each side, irregularly spaced, tall normal sash in centre for stairs: cambered brick arches. Dentil eaves, roof as front. To right flush wing, vertical joint in brickwork, four-pane casement, with rubbed brick arch, four-pane casement under cambered brick arch, replacing door (stone blocks for frame remain below): two-light casement, similar head to right. First floor, two three-light mullion and transom windows, cambered brick arches; dentil eaves, with three-light casement under flat roof as dormer against main block. Roof as front. Iron casement window and C20 door to single-storey wing, slightly set back on right: gable chimney.

Internally: six-panel doors, planted bead for 'fielding': panelled shutters front ground floor: moulded plaster cornice in front rooms. First floor fireplaces, front right and rear left reeded surrounds with corner paterae. Rear right in grey marble, reeded pilasters; all with cast-iron grates.
