GV II

One of a pair of cottages (q.v. No 1). C18. Limestone rubble;
stone slate roof; stack restored C20 with coursed squared and
dressed limestone. Rectangular plan adjoining No 1 at right
angles, and with the gable end to the road. Two storeys. Late
C19-early C20 two-light wooden casements with timber lintels and
horizontal glazing bars; C20 metal casement with leaded panes
within the blocking of a former doorway, far left; C19 plank door
with strap hinges and a timber lintel far right. C20 single-light
casement with a concrete lintel to the ground floor of the gable
end facing the road; 2-light double-chamfered stone-mullioned
casement (probably reused) to the first floor. Axial stack.
