C17, C18, C19. 2 storeys. A building of several periods, with a timber-framed core
(exposed at the rear but brick-faced at the front), an C18 north-west addition and a
C19 taller south-east attachment. Tile roof, hipped at the north end, with a gable at
the south side of the front. Red brick walling, Flemish bond, rubbed flat arches to
the later section. Casements, sashes in reveals to the later part. Brick porch with
coping, band, and round arch on impost bands, with a half glazed door within the rear
part of the building is irregular but exposes the stages of construction, indicating in
the middle part a framed building with a massive central stack.
