Barn. Probably C18 with later extension. Sandstone rubble, timber-frame
with brick infill and Welsh slate roof. 6½ bays aligned north/south.
East elevation has full-height ledged entry in second bay from left. The
right of the entry is masked by a late C20 barn. To the left is exposed
frame and a ledged door set in rubble. South gable extension is sandstone
rubble. West elevation is masked by large late C20 barn. Frame is four
square panels high from cill to wall-plate. Interior has queen struts
to collars which support V-struts. Some concrete underpinning of wall-
post. The barn is unusually large. Home Farmhouse, formerly known as
Cottage Farmhouse, is not included in this list. (RCHM, Vol I, p 52).
