Cottage. Former stables. Probably C18 modernised in mid-C20. Plastered cob on
rubble footings; brick stack; thatched roof. Small, 2-storey cottage attached to
south-west end of Old Beams (q.v.). 1-room plan with stack in end wall. Roof
carries on pitch of adjoining house with hipped end. Door to left with porch under
hipped, thatched roof and 1 C20 casement each floor. First floor window breaks
into eaves. Pitch of main roof raised to accommodate upper window. Single storey
brick extension to left. Formerly stables of Old Beams (No.10). Included for
group value.
