Detached cottage. Probably C18. Plastered walls. Thatched roof - hipped
at south end. Brick stack at north end. 2 stcreys. C20 single-storeyed rear
wing with hipped tiled roof. C19 single-storey extensions at each end with
hipped thatched roofs. Ledged door in open thatched porch. Ground and
first floors each have 2 casement windows with glazing bars. Internally,
main ground floor room has open fireplace with timber lintol, and some
exposed ceiling beams. Cast iron pump in front of house RCHM
Monument 38.
