13/140 Valley Farmhouse (No. 49)

GV II

Farmhouse. Late C17 or early C18 with C19 and C20 alterations and renovation.
Timber framed and roughcast rendered with painted brick casing. Red brick end
stack to right hand. Plain tiled roofs. Two storeys and attic, with rear
outshuts including a former sunken dairy. Original two unit lobby entry plan
with central stack demolished c.1980. Glazed door, two ground floor and three
first floor casement windows. Interior: Chamfered and boxed ceiling beams,
stairs to first floor in position behind former stack.
