Late C16/early C17. Rubble, double Roman tile roof. Two storeys and gabled attic.
Two windows at first floor have ovolo-moulded stone surrounds, mullions and transomes,
casements with lead cames, dripmoulds with returned stops under exposed timber
lintels. Second floor window (in gable) is similar. Ground floor has C19 bay shop
window and C20 doors. Elevation to Horse Street has 2 similar windows at ground and
first floor. Steep gable to rear with stack and 2-storey C19 extension. Decorated
rainwater heads to front and side.

Nos 84 and 86 are good examples of the gabled houses of Chipping Sodbury.
