Gate piers and gates. 1878. Two lofty square piers in rock faced masonry,
moulded caps and ball finials; to the right c.2.5m length of wall with swept
down coping. Pair of decorative iron gates to high cresting. Included for
group value with adjacent New Lodge (q.v.)
