GV II

House, formerly public house. Probably early C19. Brick front in Flemish bond with
granite quoins and rubble rear and side walls. Asbestos slate hipped roof with
brick chimneys over side walls. Double depth central stair plan. 2 storeys. 3-
window front. Central door wall with flanking taller windows; 12-pane sash to left
and 16-paned one to right. First floor 12-pane square wooden sashes have high
meeting rails. All openings have slightly cambered brick arches and all sashes are
without horns. Cornice board with triglyphs probably cut back.
Interior not inspected.
