Terrace of cottages. Early C19 said to have been built in 1816 by the
Blanchminster Charity. Roughcast stone rubble. Rag slate roofs with gabled
ends at various levels steps up hill (Nos 18 and 30 asbestos tiles). Brick
gabled end stacks. Plan: Pairs and groups of 3 cottages in terrace, probably
of double depth plan with principal rooms at front and service rooms behind.
Exterior: storeys. Asymmetrical 17 window range. Small sash windows with
glazing bars. Nos 10 and 12 have original 16-pane sashes. Nos 8 and 24 have
small ground floor bay windows with sashes. C19 and C20 glazed doors and slate
door steps. Rear elevation: Nos 18 to 25 have slate hung first floor.
Including pitched cobble path in front of cottages. Interiors: not inspected.
