Description

TREVALGA TREVALGA
SX 08 NE
4/231 Channel View and cottage adjoining
on left
GV II
2 cottages. Circa early C19, possibly with earlier origins. Slate-stone rubble.
Slate roof with gable ends; slightly higher roof to right hand range. Rendered gable
end stack on left and axial stack with C20 brick shaft near centre.
Plan: The original plan is uncertain and the 2, probably 1-room cottages may result
from the remodelling of an earlier building. The left hand cottage has an entrance
to right and is heated by a fireplace on the left hand gable end wall. The plan of
the right hand cottage is uncertain.
2 storeys. Asymmetrical overall 3-window front with 2 circa late C19 or early C20 4-
pane sashes on ground floor, C19 4-panel door between and C20 plank door to right.
Both cottages have porches constructed of large slate slabs. 3 circa late C19 or
early C20 4-pane sashes on first floor.
Interior not accessible.
