Two tombchests. 1783 and 1874. Tombchest built by Gard and Sons, erected in memory
of Henry Burdon (1783), wife Catherine(1802), daughter Grace (1761), son Henry
(1792), son William (1826) and William's wife Christian (1852). Slate stone rubble
chest with thick slate lid. Signed 'Gard and Sons, Boscastle.'
To south, tombchest of Henry Burdon, died 1874 and wife Jane. Brick chest with slate
lid and wrought iron railings with fleur-de-lys finials.
