Cottages
GV II
Earth closets and storage rooms. Circa late C19. Granite rubble with granite
dressings. Scantle slate roof with gable ends. Original red clay ridge tiles.
Plan: Rectangular building with earth-closet at either end and 4 storage rooms (or
possibly stables) between.
Exterior: Long low single storey south west front with 6 doorways. The earth-closet
doorways are at far left and right, the other doorways are on the left-hand side of
their rooms.
Interior: Simple lime-washed interiors. The earth-closets have their original
wooden seats with lids.
