SW 84 SW KEA COOMBE

2/142 Riverside

GV II

Small house. Early C19. Slatestone rubble walls to front and sides and mostly cob
to rear. Brick arches and slate sills. Hipped grouted scantle slate roof with brick
chimneys over side walls.
2-room central stair plan. Not extended to rear.
2 storeys. Symmetrical 2-window south front with central doorway. Original 4-panel
flush-beaded door with shallow wooden low-pitched gable porch. 4-panel horned
sashes.
Interior not inspected.
An unspoilt and unextended building in the middle of Coombe village at the head of
the creek.
