Farmhouse. Late C18. Hammer-dressed watershot stone with
slate roof. 3 bays and 3 storeys with much altered wing to
rear. Quoins and projecting plinth. Central door with
moulded surround and hood, C20 door. Two 4-light windows on
ground and first floors and a 10-light workshop window on
the second floor. All windows have recessed flat-faced stone
mullions, the workshop window with king mullion. Gable
chimney stacks. C20 addition to left. Bulletin of the
Saddleworth Historical Society, Vol.2, No.1, 1972.
