SU 42 NW HURSLEY MEREDON

4/7 Meredon Cottages

Row of cottages. Early C20. Rendered cob walls, thatched roof, moulded
brick stacks. 1½ storey H-shaped cottages of 3 central bays and cross-
wings at each end. Garden front has doors to left of centre and in right
corner with hip-roofed tiled hoods on posts. In centre bay and in wings
3-light casements on both floors and in other bays 2-light casements, all
originally leaded. Roof half-hipped with eyebrow dormers to central
windows. On ridge 4 pairs of ornate moulded brick stacks between bays.
