School; 1840; small, squared coursed stone, ashlar dressings to
two main original facades, random-rubble with ashlar dressings to
rest and to extension: tiled roof. Single storey, L-plan: main
part originally 3 windows wide. Main face: gabled extension
projecting forward on left, 1 window: 2 windows to main block on
right, above plain plinth: windows 2-centred arches with
hoodmould, wooden Y-tracery: iron opening lights. Scalloped
eaves board. Entrance in right return: 2-centred arch with Y-
tracery fanlight over 8 panel door (4-panel wide), under C20 porch:
small C20 lean-to beyond. Datestone over door with bold letters,
with serifs. Trusses exposed internally, 2 sets of angle braces
to principal rafters.
