Includes: Occasions, Crescent Galleries and Public Images
ANGEL CRESCENT.
House, now shops and offices. Early/mid C19, restored 1980s.
Flemish-bond brick, stone cornice and band, doorcase and some
cills, mansard pantile roof with C20 dormers, brick stacks to
gable ends and left of centre of ridge. 2 storeys with attic;
symmetrical 3-window range with one range to the left. Flat
gauged brick arches to C20 6/6-pane sash windows in forward
frames, that to left of the door is 8/8 panes. The open
pedimented doorcase has a decorative fanlight over a 6-panel
door with added moulding. The left return has two C20 circular
attic windows, the rear, in Angel Crescent, has C20 8/8-pane
sash windows to the first floor and three 1980s shopfronts to
the ground floor. INTERIOR: altered.
