18 August 1975 Farmhouse

GV II

Farmhouse. Dated 1726. Early C19 addition to left. Deeply-
coursed millstone grit. Hammer-dressed stone to addition. Stone
slate roof. Two storeys. Gabled porch to left of early part with
copings and kneelers, and Tudor-arched doorway with chamfered surround.
Inscription over reads:

To right, two 4-light chamfered windows, that to left with king-mullion.
Both have outer mullions removed. To 1st floor, one 4-light and one
2-light flat-faced mullion window, (the latter may have originally been
of three lights). The addition to the left has one 3-light flat-faced
mullion window to each floor. All recent casements. Chamfered copings
on cut kneelers to left gable. Central ashlar stack to early part.
Gable stack to left. Continuous outshut to rear with various later,
altered openings.
