Shop and flat, with former cinema now auction room. Late C19,
altered early C20. Coursed squared sandstone with ashlar
dressings; brick right return gable; roof of Welsh slate with
yellow brick chimneys. 2 storeys; 3-window range. 6-panel door
and plain overlight at right under flat stone lintel. Shop
front and former cinema entrance framed by plain pilasters
with curved brackets and block finials to high fascia. Shop at
left has central recessed glazed door; cinema at right has
Tuscan columns in antis, probably re-used, and c1960 glazed
blocking with glazed door. First floor has flat stone lintels
and projecting stone sills to sash windows, the outer paired
and the central with two lights in upper sash. Roof has
corniced chimneys set mid-slope at rear.
INTERIOR: former cinema, now auction room, has plain rear
gallery with projection box.
