GV II

Clock tower. Erected 1907. Hammer-dressed stone blocks with
ashlar dressings; lead spire. Jacobethan style with Gothic
details. Chamfered corners to tower with battered plinth;
cornice to open-pedimented clock faces with finials to cornice
and lucarnes to spire. A prominent feature in the square.
