Hanger Mill
and Millhouse

C18 or earlier. 1760 reference. 2 storey 2 window millhouse, stone,
plastered and limewashed, casements renewed with glazing bars, central
entrance with canopy with slate roof. Interior, wide stone fireplace
with beam above, hewn timber, window seats pegged roof timbers. Mill vith
rebuilding in 1841, together with millhouse, forms an L on plan, formerly
3 storey, stone, large cogged inner wheel damaged, and outer wheel remain.
