SK 80 SW BELTON IN RUTLAND NETHER STREET (west side)

GV II

House, probably early C18, but of 2 builds. Coursed squared rubble with
stone tiled roof. Right hand section is 2 storeyed, 2 bays, with 3-light
casements with fixed upper lights either side of the door. All openings
have stone heads, which to ground floor form part of the string course.
Gable end stacks. Rear wing partly built into earth bank. Left hand section
is 2 storeyed, with doorway to left and a 3-light casement and tiny formed
staircase light right of it. Coped gables. New stack on right-hand gable.
