Circa 1850. Corner site with John Street qv. Three storeys yellow
brick with painted ground floor. Stucco blocking course and cornice,
bands between storeys. Plinth. Two windows to High Street, one to inset
curved corner and three to John Street. Windows, recessed, sash, glazing
bars dividing each sash on vertical only, block sills, segmental brick
arches. The windows on the corner follow the curve and have stuccoed
lintels. First floor on the High Street. One flat fronted bow and one
bay window of three lights each, pilasters and panelled aprons, the first
floor band breaking forward over them as a plinth. The frieze and cornice
of the flat fronted bow break forward to centre. The ground floor has
large segment headed windows on both fronts. Later door and window to
left on High Street. In the centre of the John Street front, a
blocked door with broad stucco surround with chamfered edges, cornice
over.
