Designed by Sydney Smirke for Thomas Frewen Turner about 1835-45. The central
carriage drive has iron gates set in rusticated red brick piers which are fronted
by fluted stone pilasters and cartouches and topped by demi-lions rampant. On
each side is a pedestrian gate flanked by smaller brick piers surmounted by vases.
On each side of these is an iron railing ending in similar piers.
