Kitchen garden perimeter wall. c1877. Probably by Paley and
Austin (as Home Farmhouse, qv). Squared rubble sandstone with
ashlar dressings, much of inner face is brick. Perimeter wall
to rectangular garden around south side of Home Farm; north
wall attached to farmhouse and to its cart shed; south wall
has curved, central projection. Approx 2-3m in height varying
with ground levels; buttresses with offsets to the external
face. North wall: 2 doorways to left of Home Farmhouse have
pointed arches; slab copings. To right of cart shed the wall
is more elaborate having chamfered plinth and chamfered
copings; pointed-arched doorway with parapet over.
