GV II

House, later shop and flat, now restaurant and flat. Late C18
with late C19 shop. Painted coursed squared stone, with
painted quoins and painted tooled-ashlar dressings; roof of
stone slates with stone gable copings and chimneys. Projecting
quoins. 3 storeys; 2-window range. Painted tooled stone
surround to wide passage entrance at right with double boarded
doors. Full-width shop front has renewed glazing in slender
Gothic-style pilasters with crocket capitals; central recessed
half-glazed door and high overlight. Tooled surrounds to
renewed windows on each floor with transom and casement
lights. Roof has end gable copings on moulded kneelers;
truncated end chimneys.
