Wesleyan Chapel. Mid C19. Stone plaque with "Wesleyan Centenary Chapel"
on gable end. Ashlar stone wall to street (gable-end), with plain
pediment. Rubble side walls. Slate roof. One storey (tall), 2 windows
with round-arch sashes, curvilinear glazing-bars at top. Main entrance
at centre to street, 2-leaf wooden door. Door surround with Soanian
incised pilasters. Open pediment over. Interior: Tablet on west wall:
white marble on a slate block: "Sacred to the memory of George Chambers,
for many years a member and office bearer of this church. He departed in
peace May 19th 1852 aged 40 years."
